Runes && Ruins

Welcome to the world of shadowhunters, downworlders, and mundanes.
We are based off the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare.
With one small twist...no characters from the book are allowed. No children, parents, siblings...nothing, period.
Only last names are allowed.

The shadowhunting world has gone unnoticed for many, many years. The dedicated Nephilim have done their duties dispatching demons from this world and all has been well, that is...was going well. A young, innocent vampire was cruelly murdered and his case gone unsolved as to who the murderer was. Despite having no proof the vampires had their own guesses on who was to blame. Hatred rapidly built against the Nephilim and the Seelie Queen took this opportunity to finally strike at the Nephilim. She formed a secret group called the Shadowkeepers.

The Shadowkeepers are a group of downworlders who are secretly plotting against the Nephilim and striking them in the least expected places. Their ranks have grown and while the leader of the New York Vampire Clan is against joining, his second in command is secretly involved. The Nephilim have no knowledge of this secret group and the danger that they present. The Seelie Queen is planning a strike to kidnap the leader of the New York Institute's son and turn him into a vampire as punishment.

Strange shadowhunter deaths have occured in the past few months, and while no one has connected the dots they are becoming increasingly suspicious. Alliances are being tested and downworlders are finally getting their shot at taking down the Nephilim that have ruled over them for so long. Where will your loyalties lie? Which path will you take?
