A once proud kingdom brought low centuries ago, separated by a great desert known for leading travellers to their deaths, and for the great ruins of old. With rumours of long dead secrets being concealed beneath the sands where culture has been buried, and history hidden from view.

The nobility remain, some remaining loyal to Tellorna, while others holding the Emperor in high esteem, and some.. whisper fond tales of what was.

There are also the lower classes in play, going about their lives and contributing quietly to what is taking place.

Recently word has crept in from the Northern provinces that the divine Emperor is soon going to wish for the Unknown lands to be explored. The last war-band to travel there never returned, and that was a hundred years ago. Quests that characters can take part in to shape the way the area is explored, and to bring new things back home.

But beware -- old folk tales of demons, evil spirits, savages and strange beasts are whispered.

Only the Gods know whether they are true or not....
