The Greek Myths are reborn, reincarnated into the modern world and
bound to set chaos on mind-shattering levels. The Gods and Goddesses, the Titans
and even the beasts of old have reawoken in the modern age and only time will
prove that this will not be a good thing.

Saika Andrea Fraser !
Sai is joining us from Seoul, South Korea. this 19 year old is going to celebrate her next birthday on the 25th of August. she is usually very sweet, cheerful, and lively and is really quite good at singing and dancing. her problem is with the fact that she is very manipulative. tsk tsk. welcome to OF MYTH AND MEN, hun.
full name: Saika Andrea Faser celeb face: Jang Hae Byeol member group: Creature (Siren) age: 19 likes: cakes, hip-hop and rap music, hair dye, make up, and jewellery dislikes: coffee, long flights, physical fighting, classical music, and sailors.
personality:
Fun-loving and bubbly, Saika is the kind of person who is very easy to become friends with. She reminds people of lollipops, and is said to often smell like strawberries and cotton candy. She loves her make up and hair dye, and will often change her style or colour twice or three times in a single month. Sometimes, even her parents have a hard time recognising her. To many people, she gives the impression of being a hyper airhead. Her tendency to speak in a childish manner, as well as her seeming ignorance to the bad things in the world, often supports these claims. However, on the other side of her candy-coated persona, Saika is actually highly aware of the people around her. It is not that she is particularly intelligent, but she is a lot deeper than she lets on. She likes to keep it like that because it keeps others ignorant of how easily she is able to manipulate them. She likes to use this to her advantage, and has had a history of doing this to her friends, colleagues, and parents.
history:
Saika Andrea Fraser was born to Kyoko Yamaguchi and Tae Wan Fraser, a couple who were high school sweethearts at Seoul's international academy. Both her parents were highly popular, starting out as their high school's star couple, and then going on to be highly renowned managers in the modelling and music business respectively. When Saika was born, her father had just sealed the deal on a few promising hip hop groups and he was required to be away a lot. He was mostly absent for her first six years of life, but the various bands he managed began to lose their hype and so he became more and more present in her life. It was then that her mother signed to manage a few supermodels and had to fly back and forth to Europe for a while. For the next four years of her life, Saika had more daddy time and much less of her mom. It went on like this alternately for a while, and when both her parents had to be away, she was left to her grandmother. In her early teens, she discovered make up. Along with it, she discovered the joy and art of it. The idea of changing how your face looks with just a few colours amazed the teenager. She began to use it everyday. Most parents would feel shocked at the idea of their 13 year old caking on make up like a middle aged woman, but they were actually very impressed with her creativity. It looked more like poppy costume make up rather than the slanderous kind that night-women wore. Her mother encouraged her, even offering to start dying her hair to make her look "cooler". This snowballed her popularity in school, and she began to adjust her personality to fit her newer look. Then, when she turned 15 years old, her grandmother was talking to her mother over the phone. She and her husband wet just getting on the plane back to Seoul from Milan after Fashion Week. What Saika's grandmother said next changed the little girl's life… "Kyoko," she said. "Sai-chan is becoming such a pretty young lady, and she sings to me so well. Maybe one day you and Tae Wan can manage her into stardom!" The old woman meant this jokingly of course, but that did not stop the pair from looking at each other on the plane and thinking, You're right, our daughter is very pretty… After that trip, Saika's father took her to his office building and asked if she could sing an audition piece for his colleagues. She did, and they were immediately smitten. Interestingly enough, her voice was not particularly amazing, but it was not bad either; however, there was just something about every note that left her mouth that drew them to her. It was as if she was irresistible. Her father was impressed as well. She had never sang for her parents before, so this came as a shock to him. No one in their family was very good at singing. By the time it was her sixteenth birthday, Saika released a single under her father's management. Her mother took care of the advertising and covers, and the girl became a star. No one in the city could tell why she was so popular. Even the rockers and metal heads were drawn to her bubblegum pop music. She became later became known as "The Siren of Seoul", because people would fly from all over the world to attend her local concerts.
The day was a few weeks short of her 17th birthday. She was recording the music video for her new single, and the whole crew had sailed to Okinawa, Japan to film it. After a few days of shooting, everyone got a day off to enjoy the sand and sea. The girl decided to try exploring around the island. She could spot many ships in the distance, all bobbing about in their element. It was not until sunset that she reached an area that was more rock than sand. Something inside her felt compelled to go by the rocks, and her feet began to move before she realised it. In her line of vision, there were men sailing a fishing boat, a large one. They looked like they must have been one of the main boats of a big fishery. They were still a far way away, but that did not stop Saika from opening her mouth and singing a song that she had never heard before… "Pause with your ship; listen to my song // Never has nay man passed this way in his dark vessel and left unheard the honey-sweet music from my lips // first he has taken his delight, then gone on his way a wiser man…" The melody was unknown to her, and the words so foreign. At the same time, she had never felt so at home with those words, the way they naturally flowed from her lips without a stutter or second take. She was so taken by it that she continued to sing it as she walked back to the resort that she and the crew were staying in. She continued to sing it in the shower getting ready for bed, and she continued to hum it into the night sky as she took in some fresh air from her window. Later, deep into the night, there was an earthquake. It was of quite the friction, causing Saika's parents to come running from the adjacent room to her aid. The entire resort was evacuated, and everyone stood in confusion as to what had caused it. There were no warnings about a shake this heavy in the news, and even the resort staff were astonished when they called up authorities from the main land. What was the strangest part of all this was that the seismology department reported that there was not earthquake. No tectonic action had taken place at all. It was not until sunrise that everyone saw what the real cause was: Ships. Everywhere, all the boats and ships that had been sailing in the distance had crashed into the island. Some, perishing on the rocks, others capsized by the shore. Around those ships, there lay dead bodies. There were some men that were washed up on the beach, barely alive, shells of men. All they could do was stare up at the rising sun and mutter the words. "So… beautiful…" as they wasted away from exhaustion. Saika said nothing, and refrained from humming the accursed tune the rest of the trip. A sudden realisation began to grow from inside her. The feeling closer to a re-awakening rather than a discovery. She knew it was her fault, and she knew that she could do it again… in fact, she wanted to do it again.
In the year that came to pass, Saika began to do some research on her kind. She read up on ancient greek history, masking it as "costume inspiration for her next album". It then clicked in her mind: she obviously cannot be the only one out there. It would be impossible. She had to find a way to contact others, at least to let them know that she was there. She convinced her parents that she was ready for an international tour for her next album. They agreed. Saika is currently planning the destinations for her international tour, using her Korean fan base to create the push she needs to have her music draw people from all over the world and make this work.

Private RP - An Emptier World No Longer
The day was drawing to a close when Akira finally arrived at the amusement park. It had taken her a while, as the helicopter had to land atop the nearby office building for her to disembark and make the journey by foot. The sun was dimming its soft orange glow as it slowly dipped into the distant west, making a path for the wafer moon. The slow moving of the clouds were courtesy of the north wind, bringing with it a cold yet welcoming breeze that chilled Akira's skin through the layers of her light blue kimono. Though she did not show it, the girl felt a twinge of anxiety building up within her. A strange, almost unfamiliar quiver in her gut that gave her the echo of butterflies with every step that she took.
Though the day was already ending, Doki Doki Land still seemed to have reserves of energy to pour into the twilit air. Joyful screams rang through the wind like wild beasts in the midst of a kill; small children crying for their mothers not to take them home just yet. "I just want one more ride, mommy, I promise! One more!" Some pushing and shoving ensuing as patrons try to buy the first of the freshly made mochi from various stands all over the park. This is why Akira did not like coming to the amusement park. In all her years in Hyakuji, she could never find the least bit of comfort in all the chaos that everyone else seemed to be alright wallowing in. Still, she walked on, clutching a silver covered notepad to her chest ever so lightly.
Even with all the commotion, however, the few people that saw Akira in their field of vision made way for her to walk by; some would wonder if she was an attraction in one of the theme park's many cultural shows, and others would simply step aside out of respect to the traditionally garbed woman who walked confidently with seemingly icy steps. She was here for one reason and one reason only. It was to find Julian.
Even the thought of his name seemed to tap on the surface of her overly suppressed emotions. Still, her cheeks remained pale, and her eyes neither batted an eyelash too many nor shifted a centimeter too quickly. For all this time in which she was kept under concentrated training, she had gained the ability to not only control her emotions, but to hide them from everyone. Whether it was out of spite to see how her family would like it if she became as cold as they were pushing her to be, or whether all those years of discipline had finally beaten away the soft, optimistic, childish thing she used to be, Akira was very different now. She was a blank slate, a ghost of her former self, like a doll with which others bend as they please to their convenience. And yet, now and again, there were still some emotions that would escape her; concern, anger, hatred, fear.
And fear was what was slowly building up inside of her now.
She did not know where to even begin looking for him, and she was trying to convince herself that she did not care whether she would find him or not. It had been so long. How did he still remember her? Then again, it was not like she easily forgot about him either. It was strange, feeling this odd attachment to Julian. Their few shared, yet precious memories... She wondered how he had become so different. She never recalled any part of his ability involving decay and destruction. For as long as she could remember, he was a healer. He took away pain, made the sun shine from above, and was particularly good with plants. An angel. The short report that Yuriko had givem her was very different from her memory. If it were not for the name attached to the account, Akira would never have guessed that it was Julian. Not in a million years.
She lifted her right hand up to brush a strand of her now shoulder length silver hair out of her eyes, glancing to see the attractions around her. A large roller coaster to her right, and bumper cars to her left. In the distance, she spotted the dark silhouette of what could only be the House of Horrors. She would begin her search there, she thought. She was thinking that if she was to look for an Angel of Death, the first place to look would be the one site with the most dead things to adorn and decorate its wall. As she brought her hand back down, her index finger grazed her bottom lip ever so gently, and a memory flashed across her mind in what seemed like less than a moment. It caused her to pause in her footsteps suddenly, and dizzy confusion ran across her mind before she regained her composure once more.
And so she walked on, ignoring the sound of people weaving through the air, her wooden sandals clicking softly on the concrete.
