The Greek Myths are reborn, reincarnated into the modern world and
bound to set chaos on mind-shattering levels. The Gods and Goddesses, the Titans
and even the beasts of old have reawoken in the modern age and only time will
prove that this will not be a good thing.

The modern world. All is as it should be, and all is calm. Or as calm as the modern world can be. The Greek Myths are all long gone and dead, forever lost to the world except in stories. But one fateful day, Zeus arises from his sleeping death. His heavenly body had long deceased, but his spirit remained, entombed deep within himself. As he Awoke, his spirit searched the world for the one being that best connected with him. And as he found the body, their memories combined, each revealing to the other glorious discoveries and a new awareness of the world. He summoned his messenger Hermes, Awakening the spirit to live once more, and set him out to receive the other gods/goddesses as they Awaken.
But the Gods were not the only beings to come alive.
The creatures of legends arose. Minotaurs, centaurs, harpies, satyrs, any greek myth ever thought of, all came to life. And along with these dangerous beasts, the Titans also returned. But no longer are they locked in Tartarus.. Many surprises are in store for the Gods. So the immortal beings seek out to reclaim any that follow their bloodline and Awaken the long-forgotten powers that each of them obtain. And so the Greek Myths are reborn, reincarnated into the modern world and bound to set chaos to mind-shattering levels.
It is now one year after Zeus awoke. All of the gods are coming back to life in the new world, and the demigods have started life in the Academy, with more still coming in. All is about to be as it once was, but with tweaks like technology making the minor differences . . . until Hades takes it upon himself to tip the balance of the Gods and try to take the throne as God of Gods for himself.
Chaos is slowly starting to spread. The split of loyalties between Gods is obvious, but where the loyalties lie is still unknown. Life within the Academy starts to get shaky as the demigods struggle to choose where their own loyalties will lie. And on top of all of this, the Titans are no longer bound in Tartarus. But reborn as free as the others. What will they do, will they themselves take a side?
Each Immortal rules over a part of the world. They consider this to be their "fortress" and safe haven. Their identities aren't made known to the public but they make sure that the mortals don't catch on to the unknown world of the gods. It is hard when so many creatures and deities are willing to interfere with mortals around the world. As each of the gods begin to awake to their identity, the unseen world is closer to becoming seen.
Right off the coast of Australia, hidden from mortal eyes, is a vast island that is home to the Omega Academy. It opened in 2012 when the first god began to "awake" to their true selves. The purpose of it is to be a safe haven. Fighting immortals within the academy is forbidden. Once the gods began to awake to their true identities, they tracked down all those that descended from the blood line. Some immortals, minor gods, heroes of old, and demi gods teach classes on the island but rarely do they stick around since they are each responsible for the city they reside over. As things began to get a little rough outside of the school the gods began to take that "baggage" with them back to the academy. The students began to take sides as each of them started to become influenced by their professors and rumors. The drama might slightly mirror the chaos of the outside world but the battles are very different.
