The Greek Myths are reborn, reincarnated into the modern world and
bound to set chaos on mind-shattering levels. The Gods and Goddesses, the Titans
and even the beasts of old have reawoken in the modern age and only time will
prove that this will not be a good thing.

Celeste ran through the forest, the wind rustling through her hair and brushing past her cheeks. It was a sensation that she admired most dearly. It made her feel free, as if she could fly, even if she knew that she couldn't. She was as free as a bird when she was in the forest. Her bow was on her back as usual, of course, though it felt light as a feather, barely even noticeable as she flew through the trees. She could hear almost everything. The sounds of owls letting out their hoos, the scurrying clicks of squirrels running above her, the gently whistle of the wind rustling the leaves. All of it was always so delightful to her. Though not as delightful as she feel of a bow in her hands, releasing that wonderous arrow and listening to it whistle through the air just before it meets its mark.
As she jumped to kick her foot onto a tree, she closed her eyes, feeling the true weightlessness of being of the ground for just a moment before letting her hands grab onto the lowest hanging branch. She just held herself there for a second, smiling softly and watching a wolf pup run under her feet before pulling herself up onto the branch. She took a second to balance herself on it. Now was the time for her to wait. Taking her bow off her back, she held it in her lap and started to check it, making sure it was in tip top shape. It was the bow her father got her when she was just starting to get into hunting and she had been using it ever since. It was her favorite bow, her favorite weapon out of all the things that her father had left behind. True, she had quite an attachment to her hunting knife, something she rarely left at home, it was the bow that felt most... familiar in her hands. As if it was the one thing she was meant to weild. Strange as the thought was, it seemed all too true.
The sudden sounds of leaves crunching under peoples feet snapped Celeste into hunt mode. Wrapping her legs securely around the branch, she took an arrow out of her quiver and readied it. She watched for any sight of movement, the milky rays of the moon illuminating her path. But, oddly enough, as she waited, it wasn't the sight of an animal she saw. No, as she lowered her bow, she realized that it was a woman. Her resemblance to Celeste was strikingly similar. The mysterious woman stood in the middle of the path, back to Celeste, as she called for someone in a language unknown to her. The woman was soon surrounded by maidens, all dressed in what looked to be ancient attire, ready for the hunt. The woman soon turned to her, reaching out to beckon for Celeste to come, but she couldn't seem to move. She was stuck, frozen to the branch, even as a pulling sensation made her wish she could go to the other woman.
BRIIIIIIIING!!! BRIIIIIIIIING!!!
Celeste moaned as her alarm went off. The sound was loud and obnoxious to her, making it the worst way for her to start off every morning. Throwing out her arm, she smacked down on the snooze button to quiet the contraption. She despised it, wished that it made some other more delightful sounds for her to wake up to. But no, of course. Every morning was the same. Especially lately, what with this same dream all the time. Celeste wished she understoon it, wondered who the woman was and why she was constantly feeling this pulling sensation towards some mysterious woman that she only had dreams about.
She stayed in her bed for a moment, thinking about this before stretching and sitting up, making sure to turn the alarm off before it decided to blast in her ears a second time. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she finally stood and made her bed, pulling on some sweat pants and a tee shirt of her panties and spaghetti strap tank top. The scent of freshly brewing coffee filled the house and she was reminded yet again of how thankful she was for the automatic coffee machine. She had it set to start brewing a little before her alarm went off. Always made it so she didn't have to worry about coffee in the morning.
Heading out her room and down her stares, Celeste walked into the kitchen and grabbed the Italian Sweet Cream out the fridge before getting a cup and pouring herself some coffee. Slowly tippng the creamer over to watch it swirl into the dark liquid, she couldn't help but feel a little relieved. Coffee always brightened her mornings and made it easier for her to start her daily exercise routine. She stirred the coffee up before drinking it. The first cup always went by the fastest. It was the second cup that she prepared she tried to savor. While sipping on that second cup, she put the creamer away and bumped the fridge closed with her hip. Food would come later, as it usually did. Now she just needed to finish her coffee and get on her shoes. She figured that before her exercise, she would stop by the lake and go for a quick swim. She already had a bag packed with her bikini and everything. Though a part of her would much prefer skinny dipping, it was far too public for that.
She gently placed her coffee mug in the sink before going to the door. It didn't take long for her to slip on her shoes and grab her small bag before heading off. Jogging at a rather reasonable pace, she made her way to the lake. Still, her thoughts kept going back to that dream. She didn't understand, why did she keep having the dream. Was it something important? Or was it just her way of showing her admiration for hunting. She couldn't help but wonder. She remembered when her dreams were simple. Just her wandering through the desert or exploring caves, sometimes even memories of her youth. Though, almost never did they include people she didn't know. That was what she felt was so strange, what kept bothering her. Maybe she should talk to Sampson about it sometime, though she doubted that would help much.
"Just a stupid dream," she muttered, coming to a stop at the lake side. Celeste walked over to one of the docks. The moon was low, slowly being carried away before the sun would rise into the sky. Something about the moon seeming to be so close was comforting to her. She loved the thought of the moon watching her and it always brought a smile to her face.
She took off her shoes and socks and looked around before stripping down to change into the black bikini she had in her bag. Setting it all to the side, she moved to the end of the dock and sat down, letting her feet rest gently on top of the waters cold surface. Now this was relaxing. Leaning back on her hands, she just sat there for a moment, face towards the sky and eyes closed. Strange dreams or not, she would always have these little moments of solitude. Moments that brought her great happiness. These were the moments that no one could take from her.
