RAEGAN:
     Raegan is a very quiet and cautious creature. She is terrified of others and often times she stays in the background, unnoticed and that's how she likes to be. She's never exactly been popular with anyone and she had a very strang sense of humor. She was that kid that everyone sort of avoided in school because she was a little bit different than the other kids. She is awkward and often says the wrong things at the wrong times, but she is really a nice kid under it all. She just doesn't really know how to express herself appropriately. As she grew up she figured out that it was easier just to sort of do her own thing, she's come into her own now and has a firmer grasp on who she is. She's come out of her shell a little bit, but she still has an innate fear of other people. She tries to be nice to people, but she has something in her mind that holds her back. She has an anxiety disorder and she's prone to panic attacks when she's stressed and to make matters worse she gets stressed out rather easily.

NYX:
    Nyx is a confident goddess, quiet and brooding, but confident. She speaks when she wants to be heard. She says nothing when she doesn't. A creature of mystery and darkness, Nyx is not easy to find and she really won't make herself known without a good reason. She is a goddess feared by many, though she is not hostile, many fear her because of the immoral actions performed in the safety of the dark. She has violent thoughts but she rarely acts on them unless her temper gets the best of her.

Raegan was born in a small neighborhood in San Francisco. When she was very young, her mother and father divorced. The young child didn't really understand. She was only four at the time. What happened over the next few years would shape and mold her into the fidgetty, panicked, terrified woman she grew into. Her mother dated a series of men after that, she didn't want to be alone and apparently the solution was to run through a series of losers to find one, but it didn't serve to do anything except scare her daughter. Some of the men were nice, and not all of them were total losers, but her mother was toxic and ruined every good relationship she got into. So, the string of bad choices continued. The worst was when she was about fourteen, her mother was dating some sleazy guy, nothing new there, but the way he eyed Raegan in the mornings when she'd come down for breakfast, or the way he lingered just a minute too long when it was just them. It made her very uneasy, but she was young, naive and didn't question it. It wasn't until looks turned to touches did Rae tell her mother, even though the man had told her not to, she didn't like it and she hated even more the fact that her mother didn't believe her. Raegan stayed in that hell, it got progressively worse for her, but she had no way out until she was nearing sixteen and she'd had enough. Her mother's boyfriend was getting worse, though he never did actually get all the way he was wasting no time in trying to get there, and it was apparent to Rae that her mother was aware, she just didn't care. Raegan ran away from home and after a few nights she was found by a young woman who wanted to know what she was doing, at the mention of taking Rae home, she broke down and the woman knew something was wrong. She went to the police and after a long investigation and custody battle, the young woman formally adopted Rae, not trusting anyone else not to damage the already fragile child.
